$*$ VIZIO VX240M 24 Inch Full HD 1080p LCD HDTV

By "5 stars within its class," I mean this is an excellent set if you don't compare it to much more expensive TVs with far more features. If you're just looking for an HDTV in this size with a really great picture and simple operation, and at a bargain price, this one qualifies nicely. It's currently being featured at Costco at a deep discount. (March 2010).

I connected mine to an over-the-air antenna, and the HD picture out of the box was simply outstanding. Another advantage that this model has over many of its competitors is the front-facing speakers and strong audio output. I previously bought a Samsung P2770HD with similar specs, except that the audio output from its down-pointing speakers was really poor, even at max output. I took it back to the store. You can hear this one in any room with the volume control at less than 50%.

Some reviewers have criticized this set because of its tinny sound (described as "hiss" or "static" in other reviews). That's largely because the default audio tone setting is "flat," and you can change it in the audio submenu. I set mine to "rock," which improved the bass and cut the tinniness.

I didn't have any of the other problems cited by other reviewers such as color bleed or a logo that won't go away. No logo on my screen.

I'm not a fan of Vizio in general, as it's by no means a top of the line manufacturer, and their sets rarely show up on any preferred list in Consumer Reports and the like. But I decided to take a chance on this one due to Costco's generous return policy. If it disappoints me within 90 days, I can take it back for a full refund. But first impression on this one is that it will be a keeper.

#*# Sharp LC37SB24U 37 Inch 720p LCD HDTV

I bought this tv only a few months ago and already I am experiencing the problems others have talked about in their reviews. Every so often the tv turns off...or won't even turn on to begin with. The power light just blinks every few seconds. Most of the time the tv will eventually turn itself on in an hour or so. However, I haven't been able to get the tv to turn on at all in the last two days. I am waiting for the repair guys to come take a look at it, but judging from other reviews...I'm not holding out much hope.

Another annoying part...when the tv jumps back and forth from mono to stereo a little windown pops up in the upper right-hand corner stating what audio mode it is in. Even though you can't really notice a difference in sound, there is no way to get the box to stop from popping up. The tv didn't do this at all when I first bought it, but over the last few months it has gotten progressively worse (as is the case with the tv turning itself off). This is my first Sharp I have ever had...and probably my last.

#$ Brother MFC 5490CN Professional Series Color Inkjet All in One with Ethernet Networking

The printer worked fine for about 4 months, then nothing Black would print. Installed new cartridge even though existing one was 3/4 full. Still no black. Cleaning, alignment, test prints - all no black.

Called Brother tech support and they sent me a new printer under warranty. This one worked for two weeks, and guess what - this will not print in Black now either with a new full black cartridge.

Not worth the headache. I guess this piece of crap is made in China or something.

$*$ Sigma 20mm f 1.8 EX DF RF Aspherical Wide Angle Lens for Minolta and Sony SLR Cameras

This lens is physically about the same size and weight as the canon 17-40L lens. They have similar central sharpness at f4.0 but the sigma corners are fairly soft, and no way as crisp as those on the canon 17-40L lens. There is little vignetting at f4.0 on the sigma, but the vignetting at f 1.8 is fairly marked.

I am not sure of the best use of this unique lens. I bought it for nighttime photography of the constellations as a poor man's version of the very expensive canon 16-35L lens, but it may prove to be to soft for this. I will have to try it some. It does focus quite closely, and the large focusing ring is pleasant to use. For people travel photography, with a diffuse blurred background, such as from photographer Phil Borges, this may be quite a useful lens. It's is a fast lens, but you have to really just want the center to be sharp, as for landscape photography it will be too soft and the 17-40L lens will be much better.

Do not under any circumstances buy a Brother printer. They rig the machine so that it will accept no generic toners. You use a brother toner or the machine won't work. Amazing!

@# Tamron AF 11 18mm f 4.5 5.6 Di II SP LD Aspherical IF Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras

This is the second Wide angle lens I own (first one was Nikon 12-24mm f4).

Built quality is different, Nikon has a better quality build and a internal focusing motor, Tamron has no focusing motor inside the lens (camera body has to have a focusing pin) and it its zoom and focus rings are looser (I have purchased it used, no electronics=used is good).

Overall I am VERY satisfied with Tamron (after using Nikon for a while), this is very inexpensive lens compared to Nikon wide angle lens, and it is 1mm wider.

You can see more of my photos made with this lens at: [...]

Highly recommended for a budget minded user.

I also use HOYA MRC CPL (not the thin version), it functions great, highly recommended.

In any case, you can go to the people in your environment and marketing people can see that I was definitely better target marketing for virtual people? Well, not necessarily! All I really want is to encourage people to buy your music, so no matter where they live, as long as they want.

The fact is,Online marketing of music, you're always your music noticed by more people than you would with offline marketing. There are literally millions of people using the Internet daily. Advice for images and reports

As with any type of business, if you want the right kind of people, then your market image is everything. You must be able in a web presence that shows potential customers exactly what you and your music. The best way to do thisis the creation of your site.

Creating a website, potential customers to your website if you have a forum, links, or if you have a web presence elsewhere, like on MySpace, etc. It is basically a space where potential customers get to see what you all are and when the first impression is over, you should be able to leave a good image of you site and your on your PC.

How exactly you do? Well, think about what kind ofMusic you make. And 'indie / rock / pop / country? The type of music that you want to reflect the whole picture on this. With blogs, podcasts and MySpace
